Pico's Task Force ("PTF", "we", "us") is a Star Citizen gaming community. This site is the org's public home and, behind Discord sign-in, the member terminal we use to run operations, recognition, and org logistics. These terms apply to everyone who uses the site, and especially to members who sign in to the terminal. By using the site or accepting these terms at sign-in, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
PTF is a hobby community run by volunteers. We are not a company, we do not sell anything on this site, and nothing here is a commercial service. The site exists so a group of friends can organize play sessions and keep a record of them.
2. Your account
There are no site-specific accounts. You sign in with Discord, and terminal access is granted only to members of the PTF Discord server who hold an eligible rank. That means:
- You are responsible for your Discord account and everything done through it on this site.
- You must meet Discord's own age and eligibility requirements to have a Discord account at all.
- If you leave the org or lose your eligible rank, terminal access ends with it.
3. Acceptable use
When using the terminal, do not:
- Attempt to access records, pages, or tools your rank does not grant you, or probe for ways around permission checks.
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-export other members' information.
- Falsify org records - attendance, treasury entries, award nominations, reports, or anything else other members rely on.
- Use the site to harass anyone or to break Discord's or RSI's own rules.
The org's Discord server rules apply inside the terminal too.
4. Your content and org records
Things you submit - reports, callsigns, fleet lists, treasury entries, nominations, and similar - become part of the org's shared record and are visible to other members inside the terminal. You give PTF permission to store and display that content within the community. Leadership may edit or remove content to keep records accurate and the community healthy.
5. In-game economy only
Every ledger, balance, contribution total, and price on this site tracks aUEC, Star Citizen's in-game currency. It has no real-world monetary value. Nothing on this site is a payment, investment, gambling, or money service, and no real money changes hands through it.
6. Star Citizen content
This is an unofficial fansite. PTF is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Cloud Imperium group of companies. Star Citizen and related marks are property of Cloud Imperium Rights LLC and Cloud Imperium Rights Ltd. Game imagery is used under the Star Citizen fan-content policies linked in the site footer.
7. Access and termination
Terminal access is a benefit of membership, not a right. Org leadership can suspend or revoke access, or remove someone from the org, at their discretion - for breaking these terms, server rules, or simply because moderation calls for it. You can stop using the site at any time, and declining these terms at sign-in simply signs you out.
8. The site is provided as-is
This is a volunteer-run hobby site. It may go down, lose data, change, or shut down entirely without notice. It is provided as-is and as-available, with no warranties of any kind.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PTF and the volunteers who run this site are not liable for any damages arising from your use of it. It is a free community site for a video game; use it in that spirit.
10. Changes to these terms
When these terms or the Privacy Policy change in a way that matters, we update the revision date above and the terminal asks every member to accept the new version at their next sign-in. Continued use of the terminal after accepting means the new version applies.
